I'm not proficient enough with the technique behind your vision to comment intelligently on it, but the result is startling. I see the depiction of a horror concept characterized by the incernation of pure predatory evil. Usually efforts of this sort are compromised by the artist's effort to soften the effect by adding a mitigating element such as character charisma or romantic background. I see none of that here; any factors that might moderate, diminish or attempt to justify the subject's ferocity are omitted as unnecessary, even unimportant. He is what he is. The moment is the moment, deal with it ha ha. Congratulations. This work is in a superlative class by itself.
The kind of work this must have taken must have been rather tasking, and must have taken a rather lengthy amount of time. I have always been a fan of the realistic effects of anthropomorphic alterations, as well as the kinds of sci-fi-ish transformation that a person can go through, while still managing a humanistic appearance somehow.
The one word I have to describe this is "Amazing". I could never imagine how much time and effort someone had to put into this in order to get this kind of result in the end. The way this turned out impressed me beyond a large number of other things have in the past.
All I can say is keep up the good work, and the only direction you can go from here is up.
hi! I am a DAwatcher of yours. may I use this picture to illustrate a brief sci-fi story that I will publish online in a blog? (nothing pressing, it may take some months.) copyrighting you as the author, of course!
many thanks! it will be about 40 super-brief stories, one per week, and yours is N. 20 or so... this is why it will take a while it will mix the Island of Dr Moreau and the art by the Italian Antonio Ligabue, a half crazy guy who often painted powerful big cats.
Heheheh, nice one! Crazy coincidentally, I managed to find the same snow leopard a while back for a manipulation of my own. It's in near the beginning of my gallery if you wanna check it out, called "Spotted Portrait" (I don't wanna post it directly and seem like I'm trying to show off or anything ). Might be hard to tell, since the eyes are closed and the mouth is open, but you can tell by the nose and forehead. Crazy
